| Memories of Sah'aar |

I drew a picture for Paul S. Gibbs, a friend who died five years ago. Well, we really weren't friends since we butted heads so much but I learned a lot from him. I didn't realize this until the last few months of his life but I was glad that I could give him respect then.

I was very young when he was alive... an immature, arrogant teenager who thought she was hot stuff because she was still in high school and was able to go to college at the same time. If it wasn't for him I would have never studied anthropology and history. I may not be doing that stuff for a living but it's a huge part of who I am now.

He was a writer and longed to share his creations with the world. He died before he could publish his stories but they are still on the internet for everybody to read. If you would like to check out his webpage please go to The Sahaaran Embassy.

I have a promise I need to keep that I made to him but for now, we get a picture...

Art of Sah'aar

This image is of Ehm'ayla, Paul's main heroine of the series. Since Paul liked the ocean and so do I it was only appropriate to draw her there. ^_^

Ehm'tassaa was one of my favorite characters and the one I related to the most. I'll have to draw a completed drawing of her someday soon but for now here is a sketch.

If you have any artwork that you would like to share that was inspired from his stories please email it and I will display it here! Also, send it to Alqua at alqua (at) fiction2012(dot)com so it can be shared at The Sah'aaran Embassy. Only clean art is allowed since that's what Paul would have wanted. ^^
